Honestly what I’d love to see social media do is what it does best. It removes the filter between us and others to enable us to connect to create movements. I’d love to see it aid China, Iran, Egypt and other places where there are those that are oppressed. I’d love to see us exchange information that shows those who would be cruel that society simply does not allow that type of behavior.
It’s my hope that things will work that way – as we get to connect beyond traditional press mechanisms and with others on a real basis. It could mean everything.
